It seems like it was just the other day but ten years has past since our nation was attacked by extremists ending in tragedies in three locations in the US. One attack was at the Pentagon in Arlington, Va. On that fateful day Peter Roof eventually was stationed just outside the smoldering headquarters of the US military doing live shots all night. Peter was again in the same place next to the Navy Exchange gas station helping stations cover the ceremony with four live shot positions for international broadcasting clients. The Pentagon was restored by the first anniversary of the attack. The weather on the 10th anniversary was essentially the same: a cloudless sky. This time the skies were filled with routinely passing commercial aircraft.
